Warburg - Henderson KAG acquires first building in the Netherlands
for its Pan-Europa Fonds Nr. 1
Warburg - Henderson KAG has continued the acquisition
programme for its flagship Pan-Europa fund with the purchase of its
first asset in the Netherlands. The Fund has acquired two self-contained
office buildings close to Amsterdam’s Schiphol International Airport.
The two modern buildings extending to some 12,300 m² with 310 car parking
spaces are let to various tenants including ALD, GM Daewoo and Kyocera
Mita. Warburg - Henderson KAG was advised in the transaction by
Henderson Global Investors who is the appointed Asset Manager for
the Fund.
The Warburg - Henderson Pan-Europa Fonds Nr. 1
was launched in July 2003 and currently comprises nine office and
retail investments in France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain and
the UK. With additional capital available for deployment across
western Europe, Warburg – Henderson KAG is planning further
acquisitions this year.
Warburg - Henderson KAG specialises in the
creation and management of pan-European property Spezialfonds.
The company was founded in 2001 as a joint venture between
M.M.Warburg & CO, Hamburg, and Henderson Global Investors, London.
The company’s aim is to become a market leader within the next
few years. Warburg – Henderson KAG has initiated five property
Spezialfonds since December 2002 with German and international
institutional investors, raising equity in excess of €600m.
